Submitting

The Blue Nib accepts articles for inclusion in print and on site. Articles submitted should be relevant to our target audience and be on literature, poetry, the arts or related relevant topics. We are particularly interested in articles that chart subjects such as your own journey as a writer, profiles of poets or writers who have risen in the craft, articles on the growth or demise of the arts, readings, galleries, performances and events, but will read and consider any submission that suits our audience.

Use the form provided to submit your article. One article per form. We like work to be submitted in Times New Roman, font size 12 and single spaced. Once you submit you will be asked for a biography and a photo. Our preference is for biographies written in third person and quality photos, square cropped

Submit Article.

It takes some time for our editor to read all submissions, if you want to check the status of your submission, use the navigation tab at the top of every page on site. Your work will either be marked as LIVE which means it is published or AWAITING APPROVAL which means the work is still in our pending file. If your work is rejected it will disappear from your submission list entirely.
