Eros by J.P Mayer

EROS

sitting in a window seat
I hear ocean’s daughter
across the café

breaking me with her song her

shhh to know Sigh
the way the reeds bend to water
first chord
guitar strung with wheat
low strums

shhh just
just my Sigh my
my love for you
second chord, third chord all askew

find the key the key the key—
just steam no key,
my love floats
